Owners description:

Sam is 9 years old. He has been and still is a devoted companion. He worked hard as an assistance dog when younger but now spends most of his day sleeping and eating apart from when his lead appears. It is sad to see my old boy as he is and I long for the mad 'tigger' days that I thought would never end to come back again!

Reason for joining: I registered Sam with Dogslife as I would like to see an end to all the health problems that Labradors are experiencing due to breeding dogs with lack of thought to the genetics and lack of testing of the pair to be mated. It has been an interesting experience and I have enjoyed learning from the data that the research has thrown up and shared with us over the years.
