Owners description:

She is an absolute delight. She is very well behaved - we spent a year at dog training. She is polite with all other dogs and I have never heard her growl. She is very laid back and calm. She loves having treats, and loves to play ball. She actually throws the ball back! We have been doing agility together now for 2 years, and we both love it. She has a few rosettes, and whilst she will never be the fastest, she is very accurate and watches me all the time for her instructions. It has really helped us to build a very special and important relationship together. I have also taught her to do some tricks - twirls, roly-poly, going in and out of my legs and of course shaking paws. In our town, she has now trained about 8 shopkeepers to give her a biscuit when we go in. She loves them and they love her. She is very well known in the local area. She is just perfect - a wonderful companion and friend. We all love her to bits.

Reason for joining: I thought it a very worthwhile piece of research and it certainly makes me keep an eye on her weight. She would eat all day long if she could!
